Our Story

Early in 2003, when I (Richard) was the general manager of a small company in martial arts supplies, one of our clients asked me to develop a clothing line for his brand.

Now I won’t tell you that I got struck by lightning or something similar, but there was a little light bulb in my head that suddenly lit up. A few weeks later Sharon (my wife) and I started our own clothing brand, and soon (say 6 months later) we started to produce merchandise for friends who played in bands.

We knew a lot of people that play in bands since I’ve been a punk(rocker) since ’85 and have always been involved with organizing shows, working at festivals (security crew Dynamo Open Air way back) and besides my family, our only true love is with music. We still enjoy every single show and festival we visit, even after all these years.

Within months after we started to create merchandise we didn’t have enough time to commit to both our brand and creating the merchandise, so we had to make a tough choice, and we went with (at that time) Bandmerchandise.nl. Later on we acquired the domain name Merchandise.nl since we expanded our work territory to regular companies as well. Since we felt we also needed a website that explains more about our work for the music industry, we developed Merchsupply.com as well.

Over the years our company kept on growing, and now (March 2011) we have an office staff of seven and employ numerous workers all over the world creating top notch merchandise, promotional items and other stuff on which you can put a logo (or create in the shape of a logo).

Your orders will be in the capable hands of our co-workers Alex and Angela, who take care of quotations and production of your goods.
